Earning and payouts
How much will I actually earn?
The rate is $0.08 per GB of verified traffic, but earnings are demand driven. Bytes only flow when buyers are buying, so early on expect small daily numbers. Uptime and rare geographies are what buyers pay a premium for. See the full rates.
How do payouts work?
In Kenya your balance accrues in KES and payouts land on M‑Pesa from KES 20, no bank account needed. Any peer can also switch to the crypto rail: Bitcoin (BTC) to any Lightning wallet or USDT on Tron. Your earnings, your rail.
What is the dedicated peer tier?
Approved peers earn 1.5× the standard rate per byte and get priority traffic. Their device is reserved as an exclusive exit for premium buyers. Approval is based on proven uptime, roughly 20 or more days online in the last 30 on an always on device. Apply from the earnings lookup.
How do referrals work?
Every account gets a personal invite link. When a friend you invited shares their first GB, you earn 10% of everything they earn, paid by us and never taken from them. No cap, no time limit. Referral details.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Installing and running a node is free. There are no fees, and you can cash out from KES 20.
Safety and trust
Is this legal?
Yes. You share your own connection with explicit consent, and only for vetted public-web targets. You see exactly what runs on your line before anything connects.
Is my personal data safe?
We count bytes and target domains. We never see your browsing, files or accounts. Traffic is restricted to vetted public web targets on our allowlist, which your device re-checks independently.
Will it slow down my internet?
Jobs are capped and rate-limited, and the node idles most of the time. You set the daily data ceiling yourself.
Can I see what was fetched through me?
Yes. Every job is logged with domain, bytes and timestamp. Transparency is part of the deal.
Which countries can join?
Anyone can join from anywhere. Kenya has M-Pesa payouts from KES 20; every other country joins with crypto payouts, Bitcoin to any Lightning wallet or USDT on Tron. More local currency and mobile money rails are coming soon.
For buyers
What kind of proxies does Savannah Grid sell?
Two products: a shared rotating residential pool (residential and mobile IPs from real opted-in devices, metered per GB, fresh exit per request) and dedicated residential lines (an exclusive slot pinned to one Kenyan device, the static residential equivalent). Details on the buyers page.
Are these real residential IPs or relabeled datacenter IPs?
Real residential and mobile. Every exit IP is checked against carrier ASNs (Safaricom, Faiba, Airtel and regional carriers) before it is sold, and every device belongs to an opted-in peer.
Rotating or static, which do I need?
Rotating for scale work like scraping, price checks and ad verification. Sticky sessions (about 10 minutes) or a dedicated line for stateful flows like logins and multi-step checkouts.
